Exemplar Zero Initiative launched in New–York

New-York – 10–11 October, 2010 –– Exemplar Zero which is the full spectrum sustainability initiative was launched in New–York, USA. The E–Z was initiated by the Humanitad, International Non–governmental Organization based in UK and the Inter–governmental Renewable Energy Organization (I.R.E.O), a United Nations affiliate IGO and is a private sector led initiative. Mr. Armand Assante, International Hollywood Actor and Activist who hosted the Millennium Development Goals Awards at the United Nations General Assembly in 2009 and again in 2010 MDG opened this event and Mongolia has been announced as Exemplar Zero’s Flagship Pilot Nation during this launch event. Mr. P. Tsagaan, Senior Advisor to the President, Ms. O. Enkhtsetseg, Permanent Representative of Mongolia to UN, Sasha Stone, Founder of Humanitad, Mr. Robson Mello, Secretary General of I.R.E.O, Dr. David E Martin, Chair of Economic Innovation Committee of I.R.E.O and Chairman of M·CAM, Ms. Nergui Dorj, M–ICP CEO and Mr. B. Byambasaikhan, Managing Director of New–com group, E–Z investors, partners and supporters participated in this inaugural event.

Within the framework of E–Z Initiative, a new economic and business model based on Ethical financial and economic policies will be used in identifying and deploying best–practice emission control and elimination technologies to reduce air pollution, for water re–cycling and waterless processes, in identifying and deploying best–in–class solutions for coal, copper, gold and uranium extraction and refinement to increase domestic participation in the commodity value chain and process these materials in best–in class environmentally suitable means.
